Kathleen Cooke Mangan, Esq.

Associate Attorney
  • Profile

Kathleen was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and is /(will soon be) the fourth generation Nevada attorney from her family. She earned the International Baccalaureate Diploma from Wooster High School in 2004. Upon graduation, Kathleen attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington where she earned a dual degree in political science and history in 2007. She studied abroad in London, United Kingdom, and traveled extensively throughout Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. In 2008, Kathleen joined Teach for America and spent three years working in East Harlem and the South Bronx in New York City. During that time, she earned her Masters in Education from Pace University in New York. Kathleen returned to Reno and continued teaching special education at Damonte Ranch High School and later Reno High School.

In 2018, Kathleen received a full scholarship to Boyd School of Law at UNLV. She taught elementary special education during her time in law school, and Kathleen graduated from Boyd in 2021. Having been through a highly publicized divorce herself – and knowing the struggles people face as they endeavor to move forward after difficult relationships – Kathleen has become a passionate advocate for people navigating the legal system with their families. She hopes to provide compassionate, knowledgeable expertise for clients so they can achieve the best possible outcomes for themselves and their children.
