Kate Heskett is a Junior Paralegal at Berkich Lucey Law Group, where she has supported the firm's team since August 2025 across a range of family law matters. Her work spans drafting pleadings and correspondence, preparing case materials, and coordinating closely with clients and counsel. She brings a detail-oriented and organized approach to her work, with an emphasis on professionalism and providing support to both the attorneys and clients she serves.
Before turning her focus to the legal field, Kate earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2025, a program that gave her an appreciation for the dynamics that shape families and the challenges they face during difficult times. That foundation grew through her internship with a Judge in the Family Division of the Second Judicial District Court, where she gained firsthand exposure to family court proceedings and the issues affecting families navigating the legal system. The experience left a lasting impression and set her firmly on the path toward family law.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Kate has now made Reno her home. Outside of the office, she enjoys getting out to local rodeos, attending country music concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
